I started by telling ChatGPT about my sleep problems, back pain, and aches, and asked for mattress recommendations. The Tempur-Pedic LuxAdapt made my shortlist along with at least four other mattresses I wanted to try. After a lot of research, it ultimately came down to two finalists: the Saatva and the Tempur-Pedic LuxAdapt.
I spent nearly four hours testing mattresses in the store. I made sure to lie on each finalist for at least 20 minutes because I sleep in every position imaginable-on my back, side, and stomach. This is definitely firm, at first you might go "I made a mistake, I should have gone medium". But it softens up pretty quickly to the right point. As someone with multiple herniated discs, this is so far the best mattress I've tried. No ache in the morning when I stand up, which was usually the problem with my old mattress. It's comfy, not terribly warm (compared to what people were telling me), and it has just enough give to relieve pressure points that other firm mattresses create.

Mattress is comfortable, though not sure why my only two options for review are for firm or soft since I purchased the medium. Definitely not hot like the previous tempurpedic mattress. I can't say that the mattress has changed my life in any way, but I have been getting a good night's sleep.

My experience is that I received my mattress and could immediately tell that the middle was higher than the outside creating a feeling of sleeping on a hill. The website asks that customers give 30 days with the mattress, so I did like a good customer. I called customer service 30 day in and let them know it still felt like it is like sleeping on an incline that goes from the outside edges being low to the center being high. The customer service rep could care less and gave generalized advice. I continued communications and asked for it to be elevated to a manager three times in total and have not gotten a response since my last request. The last response they gave was to file a warranty claim because they will not honor the 90-satisfaction guarantee. I just want a mattress that is level and feels like the ones I have tried out in various stores. Silly me to think ordering direct from the company would benefit me.

Love the Tempur-pedic material combined with traditional springs in the Hybrid model. Wish Tempur-pedic's website was better. Never bothered to ask if we also needed a foundation, so we had to put up with two deliveries when they showed up the first time with just the mattress ??

I BROGHT MATTERS AND BASE WITH TEMPURPEUDIC SPECIALIST SUGGESTION, THEY CLEARLY SAID IF I DONT LIKE IT I CAN RETURN WITH IN 90 DAYS. AFTER 40 DAYS, I AM NOT HAPPY WITH IT SPECIALLY ITS VERY UNREST SLEEP AND BODY PAINS EVERY MORNING SO I DECIDED TO RETURN IT. CALLED THEM TO NICK ONE OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE, HE REFUSE IT TO RETURN BECAUSE ITS CLOSEOUT MODEL AND AS PER POLICY THEY cannot RETURN. This mattress is supportive and very comfortable. It does not sleep hot at all. It is my second one in 17 years. I have a genetic problem with my back and when I started experiencing pain I knew it was time for a new mattress. It has been a life saver.

If you enjoy lower back pain most days when you awaken, this is the bed for you. Your hips sink lower than your spine. I first tried a medium hybrid and returned it for this. It was so firm it was actually funny to me how a bed like that could be made.. If I could take this bed outside and burn it, I would.

This mattress is crap after only 5 years. It sags so badly that I am paying for physical therapy twice a week and sometimes walking with a cane (I'm 56). My wife has been spending maybe two hours a night sleeping on the futon in the other room to avoid similar issues. We filed a warranty claim, which of course they denied, citing evidence of literally two teaspoons' worth of liquid damage across three spots all at least 12 inches away from the sagging. We only put it on a TempurPedic bed frame and followed all warranty requirements so we are fighting this decision. The only new response we have received from them is this request for a review. I hope this helps your purchasing decision!

We have the Tempur Pedic Luxe Adapt King Size Soft Mattress. One day the zipper came right off rendering the top cover unusable as we couldnt zip it up anymore. We tried to put in for a warranty claim since we only had the mattress barely over a year. They denied our claim as there was some kind of tiny stain on the cover somewhere which voided the warranty. We spent over 5k for this mattress, and the cover was clearly a defect in workmanship. We still are without a cover, and everytime we check the website to find a new cover for it (since we now have to pay full price for a cover replacement) it is always out of stock! Never buying another tempur pedic mattress again after this terrible experience.

Mattress so far lives up to expectations. Delivery was totally not professional. Came in truck and out of the box, and folded over by deliverymen. Sales person at American Mattress did not give instructions for registering the mattress. Consequently, mattress tag with serial number was discarded before registering the product. I provided name of the store and sales order number. I hope this suffices. This was not a pleasant purchasing experience.

We owned a Tempur Pro Adapt medium for 7 years and really wanted a king size bed. After trying out mattresses at the store, we decided to upgrade to the LuxeAdapt Medium Hybrid because extra layers on top felt so luxurious without being too soft. Proper support + adequate cushioning was important because my husband has pain from a bicycling injury a few years ago. When we received ours it felt much more firm than the one on display, but obviously it needed to break in. My husband has been complaining about his shoulder and hips hurting for a while. Over the last month or two I realized that I can only lay on one side for a short period of time before I feel pressure points in my shoulder and have to flip over. I toss and turn all night long and never sleep through the night. This is so disappointing because we waited and waited until we had the money to get our king bed. It was literally all we talked about for a year. Now after spending 5 grand I almost want to go to the tiny guest room and sleep on the old bed. We will have to deal with it because we are past the exchange period and I will be paying this one off for a couple of years. We are both on the smaller side, so I worry that we don't have enough weight to break it in. This was a very costly mistake. I often wonder if we should have gone with another reputable brand that is more affordable.

Our new Luxe Adapt Soft mattress gives us a warm hug when you get into the bed free a long day. I sleep so soundly on it and am not experiencing the back aches I was with my previous mattress. My only issue -and I am getting used to it, is how high the bed is with even the thin foundation.

Prior to this I owned a Tempur-Pedic Cloud Supreme. The best mattress I ever owned until it eventually failed. With that said I knew I was going back with another Tempur-Pedic. I replaced it with this TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt® 2.0 Medium Hybrid - Queen after months of testing and sleeping in random stores. I've had this mattress for over a year and it is miserable. I kept thinking that it wasn't broken in but in a year it should be. It is super firm and sleeps extremely hot. I've never had an issue with sweating overnight until this mattress. Though the description says cool to touch it is very misleading . It's unfortunate I sleep better in hotels then at home. After spending so much money on a mattress I'm frustrated that I'm now going to have to buy another mattress. I just can't trust going back with another Tempur-Pedic
